Blumea lacera

Blumea. Blumea lacera DC. (Fam. Compositae.)—From this plant, which is used in India as an insect powder, Dymock has obtained a light yellow volatile oil. It has a sp. gr. of 0.9144 at 26.7° C. (80° F.), and an extraordinary rotating power, 1 mm. turning the ray 66° to the left.
